Most people who keep notes are doing one of four things at any moment — gathering, sorting, connecting, or making something out of it. Personal knowledge management is just a name for the loop. MojoPad is built for the whole of it rather than one corner: capture in a keystroke, folders and tags that stay out of the way, a graph and on-device AI that surface what relates to what, and compiling, export and publishing when it's time for the work to leave.
Coming from VoodooPad?
One menu item imports your whole .vpdoc — rich text with its images and diagrams, web archives (faithful snapshots or cleaned-up editable pages), PDFs, and bookmarks. Links reconnect themselves by name the moment the pages exist.
There's even a Voodoo theme, light and dark, if you miss the old neighborhood.
Local-first, and we mean it
A MojoPad document is a folder of plain JSON and your original files, sitting wherever you put it — Dropbox, iCloud Drive, an external drive. No sync service, no subscription, no ads, no tracking. The app phones home for exactly one thing — a version check, which tells us which versions are still in use so we know what to keep supporting. It never stores your IP, and you can turn it off. Read the entire privacy policy — it fits on a postcard.
